Click read more to find out about our firmwide efforts. ​ Three charities supported each year by holding an annual Charity Night where we have 200 people at Bury Town Hall for an evening of fun and fundraising (2019 was our sixth year and we raised almost £6,500). We raise funds for local charities through sponsorship, ticket sales, donations, auctions, games on the night and raffles. Bolton Lads and Girls Club - as a firm we are a patron. We raised £1,200 this year (the most ever raised by a single business for this event) and £500 in 2018 for their Yellow & Blue day by holding a silent Auction in addition to providing free conveyancing for a property they had purchased as part of an initiative Two of our staff are current mentors for young people though Bolton Lads and Girls Club, several others have undertaken this role in the past Bolton Hospice & Bury Hospice – we support Will Week and various other initiatives providing free or reduced cost legal services Bolton Hospice – AFG annual Bake-Off Edgworth Flower Show – supporting their annual event Bolton Law Society fundraising Help for Heroes – fundraising boxes in office Hardy Mill Primary School each year at their summer fair Moss Bank Junior Football Club – providing kit for one of their teams Bolton NHS Foundation Trust Special Care for Babies appeal – supported a contact whose child was in their neonatal unit Horwich First Litter Pickers by providing monthly refreshments for all volunteers The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity – we have supported this charity at numerous events providing staff to fundraise including Parklife, a local festival where AFG volunteers sold water and collected donations Early Break UK – supported each year at our annual charity event Women’s Housing Action Group – White Ribbon Campaign supporters to stop violence against females WHAG – supported each year at our annual charity event Buddy Bag Foundation – staff volunteering to help pack bags for distribution to children Bolton College – commissioned artwork competition for Welcome to Your New Home cards Bury College – commissioned mural design competition for our Bury office entrance hall Bolton Catholic Musical & Choral Society – we support their annual productions each year Bolton Family – we are members of this initiative alongside other firms in Bolton to make the town a better place to live Working Wardrobe – donating workwear for those returning to work Woodland Trust – tree planting at a local park Bolton Beer Festival – AFG volunteers serve customers and support BLGC ​​​
